Best areas and bodyboarders are near the cities of Cherbourg and Lorient.

Vendee and Charente - more beach breaks and a few reefs. Lots of bbers in the Royan area.

Gironde and Lacanau - best area for Bordeaux bodyboarders on the famous beachbreaks But, when it's onshore, it's onshore......

Hossegor and Anglet - the most famous places in France for 10 year old groms to the 40 year old guys who shred... Excellent powerful beachbreaks and a few reefs after Anglet and into the Basque Country

Meditterranean - Only reefs breaks in the Marseille and Toulon area. Good waves, but lack of swell frequency...
